This large wall clock is a functional artwork crafted from Pennsylvania black walnut wood, using traditional woodworking techniques. The hardwood glows under a hand-rubbed oil finish. Heavy gauge aluminum is painted with an acid-resistant paint and submerged in an acid bath, which etches away the unpainted background and reveals the artist's design. Saws, files, and buffing prepare the metal for its finished state. Seiko Quartz mechanism. Uses AA batteries (included). Signed by the artist and ready to hang.
