Snow Owl

 This piece is hand-built ceramic, painted with acrylics, finished with a layer of varnish. By pushing from the inside out, the form is developed, leaving working marks of joinery, fingers and hands visible.

Building each sculpture without the use of molds or extruded clay, the artist replicates the original form closely, allowing small variations that naturally occur. The slight differences in surface texture and color, arising organically from her process, create an edition in which each piece is a unique work.

No chemical cleansers should be used to clean the sculpture: a cloth slightly dampened with water is recommended. Limited edition of 10.
