Return Policy and Order Cancellations

Our Return Policy

You may return or exchange any item within 14 days of receiving it (except for artisan food, final sale items, ornament gift boxes, and custom orders—see below). To make a return or exchange, please visit https://artfulhome.com/NewReturn

Returns

Items may be returned for a refund of the purchase price only; shipping charges will not be refunded. You will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

Your replacement order will not be mailed until we receive your return. There are no additional shipping fees for replacement orders. If your exchange costs more than the original order, you must pay the difference. If your exchange costs less than the original order, you will receive Artful Home credit for the difference.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

  1. To get started, go to our Returns and Exchanges page where you can start your return by entering your email and order number or sign in to My Account and select items to return or exchange under Order History, (there is an exception for freight items).
  2. Items must be in perfect condition and cannot be used/worn to be eligible for return or exchange.
  3. Once you begin your return or exchange, you will be provided a UPS return label to print out and attach to your return (Don’t have access to a printer? You can go to any UPS store to have it printed. Just open the label on your smartphone and they will print it for you).
  4. Repack your order. Make sure the item(s) are securely packaged; use the original packaging if possible. You are responsible for any damage due to improper packaging.
  5. Send your return or exchange within 5 business days of receiving the return service label.

Return Details

Artisan Foods

Due to the nature of these items, artisan foods are non-refundable and may not be returned or exchanged for any reason.

Final Sale Items

Items marked as "final sale" may not be returned or exchanged for any reason.

Custom Orders

Custom orders cannot be returned unless they are damaged in transit.

Gifts

We realize that the 14-day return window may not be feasible for gifts. Beginning October 1, we offer an extended return period through January 15 to accommodate holiday returns. Artisan food and final sale items may not be returned for any reason; custom orders may only be returned if damaged in transit. Refunds are for Artful Home credit or a refund to the buyer for the purchase price, less shipping charges.

Ornament Gift Boxes

If you are returning an ornament that came with a gift box, the cost of the gift box will not be refunded. You should only send back the ornament and keep the gift box.

Shoes

We hope that your new shoes are a perfect fit—but we understand that this may not always be the case. To make sure that these shoes are keepers, please try them on in a clean, carpeted area before wearing them. Once worn, they cannot be returned. Shoes in new, unworn condition may be returned within 14 days of receipt.

Clothing

Clothing in new, unworn condition may be returned within 14 days of receipt. We cannot accept returns on clothing that has been damaged, altered, or worn.

Items Damaged in Transit

If your package appears damaged, please call us at 1-877-223-4600 so we can arrange to have it picked up and inspected. Please retain all of the original packing materials.

Return Shipping Costs

Clothing, Shoes, and Jewelry

There is a flat fee of $6.95 per shipment (one shipment=one address). For example, if you return three tops to one designer, you will be charged for one shipment. If each top ships to a different designer, you will be charged for three shipments.

Art and Home Decor

The return charge is the actual cost of shipping the artwork. Because most artists ship directly from their studios, most returns are shipped directly back to the artists. To find out how much your return will cost, please call us at 1-877-223-4600.

Refunds

Once your refund is processed, it may take 7–10 business days for your refund to appear in your payment account. Note that we cannot provide refunds for any items that have been damaged, altered, or worn. You will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order. You will be credited for the price of the item minus the cost of return shipping. Note that the original shipping charges will not be refunded. If your return was a gift, you may choose to receive Artful Home credit or to have the buyer refunded for the purchase price of the item. If you provided an email address when you ordered, we will notify you of the status of your return via email.

Cancellations

Any order (except special or custom orders) can be canceled before it is shipped. To cancel an order, please email info@artfulhome.com or call 1-877-223-4600. You will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order. Your refund will be processed the next business day, though it may take 7–10 business days for your refund to appear in your payment account.
