Stand Up Desk and Stool

Williams' classic stand up desk and stool, done here in Birdseye Maple and Wenge. There are two very long drawers in the case, and three smaller drawers in the back console. A continuous wooden hinge allows the slanted work surface lid to open, and lean against the back console. Inside is a flat working surface and three additional drawers. The desk body lifts out of the stand for ease of movement. The stool is extremely comfortable, and can be used with the desk, or not. The case of the piece is dovetailed together, and the wood in the drawers matches the wood in the front of the desk. The desk is solid wood, with no veneers. The wooden hinge is a continuous one, with a steel rod inserted.
