Their Story Our Story

This artwork is made from the wood the artist has salvaged, cut, and dried. Each piece of this contemporary mosaic has been hand fit and glued to a plywood substrate. The textures are the natural surfaces of the trees that have been weathered and grayed by the wind, sun and frost. Washes of acrylic color have been added to some areas of the mosaics as well as glass chipped along the edges for textural effect.
