Entwined Together

We are all "Entwined Together" even if we don't feel it or understand it. Our lives are inextricably tied to the natural world and so the environment is tied to us for better and for worse. As Laux built this artwork during the covid-19 pandemic, this truth seems to have become so much more clear. This piece became a kind of meditation for the artist to think about all of those connections we have to each other and the greater world. he has chosen mosaic because the many parts fitting snugly, resonates and flows with this idea of our togetherness. In a perfect world everything is in harmony, in this not perfect world, we can at least try to do better.
