Cherry Bomb

To create each stunning piece, the artist assembles dozens of small, precisely cut maple blocks into a rough shape, which he then turns it on a lathe to form an intriguing sculpture of great size and bold impact. The artist's signature use of negative space adds further interest and depth. The surface is dyed, then finished with a high gloss lacquer for a shimmering luminosity and depth of color rarely seen in wood.
