Belted Kingfishers

Summer brings conspicuous kingfishers, with a fanfare of rattle, trills, and high dives from their perches. Myths and animal wisdom say that if kingfishers are around, warmth, love and peace are unfolding, and to dive headlong into it.

Poplar is cut and shaped on the band saw, then further refined on the belt sander, and hand sanded. Paint is latex enamel and acrylics. Sold individually.
