Cantilevered Coffee Table

Birds-eye maple top on a basswood base that is incise carved with both an African pattern and the artist's signature hieroglyphs. Legs are painted with milk paint. Lower rails and feet are African bubinga wood. Finish is a catalyzed lacquer in satin which holds up very well to normal use.
