Gorgeous

This is a gorgeous painting, with nice deep colors and a beauty that captures the eye and demands attention. The sea, the waves breaking on the shore and the movement of the water as it ebbs on a sandy beach: this is what the artist tries to capture as she paints. In order to accomplish this she allows the painting to take on a life of its own by turning the color loose to mingle and flow freely over the surface of the paper. The results are ''landscapes of the sea.'' Ships flat.
