Emperor's Garden Earrings

Evoking the treasured dark midnight blossoms of an emperor's private garden, these asymmetrical earrings offer an exercise in color, texture, and form. The delicate surface patterns are impressed into polymer clay and cured; next, the designs are backfilled with contrasting polymer clay and fixed again. The soft, dimensional blossoms are formed from reclaimed bicycle tubes and mounted as a unique focal point.
