Created by Judy Hawkins
Judy Hawkins' rural Vermont backyard is inspiration for many of her paintings. "Willow Tree" was inspired by the grace and form of willow branches hanging over the brook just feet from her house. Light, reflections and water currents sparkle and add movement to her painting. Hawkins' use of inventive color and abstract forms add excitement. This original oil is painted on a gallery-wrapped canvas with painted sides and is ready to hang. An archival varnish has been applied to protect the painting's vibrant colors.
