Silo 2 Along the Tracks
Created by Suzanne DeCuir
When DeCuir lived in the NW she used to drive past these silos and thought they had a kind of beauty in their old and worn-out condition. Their geometric shapes also appealed to her, so she created three paintings of them. This painting can stand alone or be joined on the wall with the two other silo paintings. They are painted in oils on canvas on a deep edge gallery-wrapped style canvas with painted sides so they are ready to hang and do not need to be framed.
