A Nest of Words

Several damaged copies in a collection of small Shakespeare books became an imaginative book themed sculpture. A hand formed oxidized copper egg opens to reveal a scene and two pieces of jewelry. The scene has six sterling silver figures reading on a brass bench. A removable, wearable pin is made of 22k and 18k gold, sterling silver and pearls. The word "READ" is carefully cut out. The pin is 2.25"x.5". The 1.75" diameter pendant has six little figures; two are 18k gold and the others are sterling silver. There are a few 18k gold books floating around. The sterling silver chain is 18" long. It's a special piece for book lovers!
