Undulating Rhythms

This mixed-media painting is created from layers of vibrant acrylic paints and a variety of textural materials. Found objects, including cord, metal hardware, straw, wire mesh, corrugated paper, and wood scraps add visceral excitement. Areas of impasto painting using brush and palette knife serve to amplify the feeling of movement and energy. An acid-free archival coating protects the surface and produces a subtle sheen.
