The artist explores questions of identity from someone whose life was split between two cultures in this mixed-media collage painting composed of Dura-lar acetate film, acrylic paint, gel medium, and resin on AlumaComp panel. The piece asks how cultures influence individuality and personal development and how, in general, the experiences of living in multiple countries imprint on what a person sees as their true self.
