Talking Threads

This lovely painting suggests the movement of prairie grasses in the Great Plains of the Midwest; deep red, magenta and sienna surround the dancing vegetation as a subtle wind passes through. The work is created with natural pigments on paper, and each color source is handmade by the artist from botanical sources including onion skin and logwood.
