Wheeler's art is a combination of drawing, painting and sculpting. he use acrylics on handmade paper that is individually cut and shaped for a modern and abstract style of collage work. The paper is stretched and then textured with medium body acrylics. Each piece is hand cut and glued with wheat paste. This technique of paper stretching is traditionally used to restore antique shoji screens and scrolls. Each panel is 26x26 inches and the set can be hung horizontally as well as vertically. Framed in a floater frame.
