Divers

This mixed-media painting is created from layers of acrylic paint, emulsions, and collaged materials. Found objects, including patterned papers, thread, pine needles, sand, and chalk, create textural excitement. Areas of impasto painting and scratching amplify the feeling of movement and energy. An acid-free archival coating protects the surface and produces a subtle sheen. The sides are painted a rich gray. Signed on the back, the painting is ready to hang.
