Delicata 13

The Delicata series consists of mixed-media paintings mounted on MDO board. The media are acrylic paint, pastel, oil pastel, colored pencil, graphite, inks, wax crayon, and paper. MDO board (medium density overlay panel) is a paintable surface made of plywood with a weather-resistant resin overlay bonded to the wood by heat and pressure. The overlay resists water, weather, wear, and degradation. The paintings are not covered with glass; they are protected by invisible acrylic mediums that provide a strong surface. The contemporary frame is silver metal.The paintings may be hung horizontally or vertically and are ready to hang in either orientation.
