Constellation

This mixed-media painting entitled Constellation, is created from layers of acrylic paint, emulsions, and rapid mark making. The use of poured paint generates a feeling of energy and dynamic movement and a variety of found materials such as string, wood, nails, and sand add textural surprise. Spacious and balanced, the painting has a strong symmetrical composition. An acid-free archival coating protects the surface and produces a subtle sheen.
