Created by Maria Livrone
The artist works with a two part epoxy resin that has been infused with an opalescent base. To that, Livrone adds different elements, such as urethanes, pigments, glass, fiber, and various other inclusions to reach her desired vision and texture. Everything is manipulated onto a wood substrate by hand, with the introduction of heat from a torch. The torch serves as a paintbrush, creating movement on the canvas. This piece is framed by a black wood floater frame and is ready to hang. Simply dust with a Swiffer, if cleaning is necessary. Do not use any solvents such as a glass cleaner. Weight is 13 lbs.
