Edge of Water
Created by Marsh Scott
Photographing as she walks, Scott is intrigued by the reflections in water. From puddles to the ocean, plants and the sky form colorful changing patterns. The sculpture floats varied plants and leaves over colorful water. The aluminum is thick and hand brushed for a soft, varied surface. Below, brushed aluminum shapes are painted with transparent dyes in lacquer. The four panels are floated away from the wall on stand-offs (included). Individual panels are 40"h x 20"w x 1" deep. As shown it is 102" wide.
