Metal Clock

Strikingly elegant large wall clock will be a spectacular accent to your living space. Primarily fabricated of brass with copper and sterling silver touches, the clock face is 12 inches in diameter. Numbers are marked with lava beads and the hands are made from flame formed copper. There are 14 tiny cast sterling silver figures gracing three of the four corners of the clock. The flattened, somewhat distorted human forms in three of the corners are also sterling silver. These represent our memories and how we interact with the past. Once assembled, the clock was immersed in a sulfur solution to apply a dark patina. Silver parts were highlighted then the clock was waxed to produce a durable finish. The clock runs on a high torque quartz movement with a C cell battery included.
