Having the Time of Our Lives

"Having the Time of Our Lives" has 58 tiny, cast, sterling silver figures enjoying a wonderful time. The larger clock face is 9" in diameter. The quartz mechanism runs on (3) AA batteries (included) and will set itself during time changes. It really is "set and forget". The smaller face is 8" in diameter and contains a reverse mechanism, sometimes called a barbershop clock. One can tell the correct time looking in a mirror.

You might fantasize about turning back the hands of time. The wreath-like circle on the upper right could represent a variety of experiences or the complexity of life. The scene on the lower left shows people enjoying themselves in an assortment of activities. Before the gemstones and beads were attached, the entire clock was immersed in a solution of sulfurated potash to obtain a permanent, dark finish. The clock was then waxed with paste wax. Ready to hang.
