Balancing Time
Metal Clock

We all can relate to the theme of this clock. As much as we try, time always wins. The clock looks like it could pivot, but it doesn't. It looks great on a desk or bookshelf. The clock is made of copper with brass weights and individually cast sterling silver figures. It has a quartz movement that runs on one AA battery which is included with the clock. The movement is concealed from view by a copper disk. The entire piece is immersed in a liquid sulfurated potash solution which yields the dark patina. When that is dry, the piece is then waxed for a permanent finish. The hands are brass-plated steel.
