Teardrop Gold and Silver Diamond Fused Lichen Pendant

A simple but richly textured teardrop of sterling silver with a charcoal-toned patina fused with 18k gold. A tiny dot of gold is flush set with a 1.70mm (.02ct) round diamond. The pendant is approximately 1"l by 0.3"w and hangs from a patinated silver cable chain finished with a lobster claw clasp and maker's tag.

The gold patterning is uniquely handmade on each pendant due to the process of fusing gold. The artist makes every effort to create a pendant with a balanced and appealing contrast of gold to patinated sterling silver. The diamond and gold dot will be placed very similarly on each piece.
