Windblown Leaf Earrings

Light and breezy, these earrings are inspired and sketched from real leaves and formed in solid 22 karat gold using chasing and repousse techniques that give movement and dimension. The richness of 22k gold is beautiful for a special event, wedding or when you just want to feel special.

Each one starts with a flat sheet of gold, the artist draws the leaves on the sheet and using a variety of tiny punches, forms the shape of the leaf from the back using (repousse). It then gets flipped over and more detail is added from the front (chasing). It is a long process that can take several days.

Signed on the back. Ear wires are granulated 18k gold for extra durability.
