The Ponderosa

Giclee print of an original watercolor painting. The artist often goes out to paint at an open space preserve called Top Of The Pines. It is very close to her studio. Being surrounded by so many Ponderosa Pine Trees of varying ages Is always an inspiration to capture this magnificent tree on site in watercolor. This particular tree, a younger tree, was full of pine cones shining in the bright sunlight. The light also created a dynamic pattern on the trunk and on the ground surrounding the tree.
