Great Basin Bristlecone
Giclee Print

Giclee print of an original watercolor painting. In 2019 the artist was invited to join and paint with a group of watercolor painters at the annual Milford Zornes Watercolor Retreat on the Mendocino Coast in California. In October of that same year, the artist headed west from Colorado stopping to visit the Great Basin National Park in Baker, Nevada. Hiking up to 10,000 feet to draw and paint the ancient Bristlecone Pine Trees, a dream was fulfilled. The air was pretty crisp with a bright blue sky but after a few hours those fingerless gloves and hot coffee kept us going and finish the painting.
