Passage

"Passage" combines painted silk and archival paper collage. Painted silk segments were hand-painted with transparent watercolor. A printed section was cropped from one of Brown's originals (watercolor paintings) then transferred and used as the center of interest. Each step is unique and completed by the artist resulting in a totally original fiber art wall hanging. Brown's work is known for its subtle color and strong design. Display by hanging from a rod inserted into the sleeve sewn on the back of the piece. Can also be mounted or framed.
