The artist's LineScape series is inspired by maps of real and imagined places. The name of the series highlights the importance of the drawn/stitched line quality in her work.
Materials and Techniques: Thickened dyes are printed on cotton fabrics using a deconstructed screen-printing process. Multiple pieces of hand-dyed fabrics combined with detailed stitching create textured layers of color and thread drawing to intuitively complete the work.
The piece has a hanging sleeve on the back and comes with a hanging rod for easy display. Signed on back.
