Fiber Wall Hanging
Created by Linda Beach
Loosely translated, Krummholz is a German word for "crooked wood" and is sometimes used as a term for a tree twisted and transformed by the elements. Created by sewing together hundreds of pieces of fabric, texture is then added with intricate quilting stitches, batting, and a backing fabric. Hanging sleeves are on the back of the artwork at both top and bottom with hanging slats included.
