The artist digitally alters her photographs utilizing patterns she creates. Using a large-format inkjet printer, the design is printed onto organic cotton. The textile is then machine quilted.
The horse, Junior, is from SMILES, an equine therapeutic organization located in Darien, WI.
A piece of industrial velcro is sewn to the top of the back of the quilt. A corresponding piece of velcro accompanies the work and can be nailed to the wall with small nails.
