The artist creates as the fish swims. The creative mind finds solutions naturally and unpredictably. This fish is an expression of this process, living and enjoying the blue water, waves, and bubbles, which are symbolic of a variety of thought processes. The image starts with a drawing on paper, which is then printed onto fabric, then stitched together in the quilting process.
