Fiber Wall Hanging
Created by Olena Nebuchadnezzar
Misty, cloudy with a hint of sun shine, ever changing April weather requires some patience through discomfort, before we see a very enjoyable abundance of flowers in May. Vintage silk tapestry, over painted by the artist, batik fabrics, metallic threads and intricate floral appliqued and embroidered images went into making of this piece. Hanging sleeve is sewn to the back of the quilt along the top side. Wooden slat coated with clear polyurethane included.
