Toward All That Remains

Forcade's experience as a painter deeply influences his photography. This is a pigment print of an original photograph made of a still-life construction built in his studio. He used a compound camera that works like a precision view camera joined with a high resolution digital camera. As many as 20 photographs are composited to create each starting image. Each of these is then recomposed and enhanced using computational, manual, and gestural techniques.

The print was made on an Epson eight-color printer using Epson Ultra Chrome K3 archival inks to maximize longevity, color detail, and dynamic range. Signed and numbered by the artist. Print should be framed using acid-free museum grade materials and UV filtering glass to preserve print quality. A four-ply beveled matte and museum glass is recommended for the finest presentation and viewing experience. Ships rolled in a tube.
