Egret Alert

The perky cattle egret is beautiful during breeding season with buff colored plumes and bright orange bill and legs. His expression is so animated and his eyes are bright red for a brief period while he is hunting for his mate. Moore captured this one in a wetland area near sunset, with the light illuminating the feathers and leaves. She softened the surrounds by adding layers of texture to create her signature look.

Captured with a high-quality digital camera. The print was made on fine art heavy cotton rag paper with archival pigment inks which produce a rich, realistic print that will last indefinitely. It is titled, numbered, and signed below the image. Limited edition of 100 for each size.
