Crowned Cattle Egret

The Cattle Egret is beautiful during breeding season, with its crown of buff colored plumes and the bill, legs and irises become bright red for a brief period. Moore found this one in a wetland area near sunset, the light illuminating the feathers and leaves. She softened the surrounds by adding layers of scanned texture.
Captured with a high quality digital camera. The print was made on fine art heavy cotton rag paper with archival pigment inks which produce a rich an realistic print that will last indefinitely. It is titled, numbered, signed, and dated below the image. Limited edition of 100 for each size.
