Staying true to her use of metaphor and symbolism, the artist uses the boat to represent our life journey. Hand built from slabs of stoneware, this wall sculpture of a boat gliding over surging waves has the weathered look of a time-worn piece passed down through generations. The surface dimension is achieved by applying a semi-matte glaze and then wiping the highlights to create texture and movement. Each piece is unique and will vary. Ready to hang.
