Rawdo

Ceramic relief wall tiles made by carving silt, forming clay within, and excavating several days later. Glazed and fired stoneware with colored terra sigillata. Each tile is made by hand with slight variations within the series. Suitable for both interior and exterior installation, each tile can be hung on the wall with a simple hook or nail, similar to that used for hanging framed artwork. A full size paper template that allows for accurate hook placement is included for easy installation. Limited edition of 20.

Outdoor Care:
This piece can be displayed outdoors year-round in all climates in temperatures between 0 and 130 F. For permanent display, the artist recommends using construction adhesives rather than traditional grouting due to the varied relief surface of the piece.
