Ceramic Wall Sculpture
Created by Byron Williamson
Jim is a jolly fish. What's there to not be jolly about. Plenty of waves, lots of breakfast and get a look at that sweetie pie fish over there. The artist makes each of his whimsical sculptures using traditional ceramic hand-building methods: slab, coil, and pinching. After the main slab form is completed, additional sculptural pieces are attached. After the piece is fired to cone 5, a cold finish is applied using acrylic paints.
