Moon Into Sea
Ceramic Wall Art
Created by
Beth Sherman
Inspired by the music of Tom Waits, the artist created this sculpture of the moon dripping into the sea.
This low relief design is sculpted out of modeling clay. From the original design Sherman made a plaster mold, into which she poured slip. After bisque firing the piece, I then applied low fire glazes and re-fired it. There is a wire on the back to hang it on the wall on the inside or outside of your home, or it can be set into a tile installation as a center piece tile.
Outdoor Care:
This piece can be displayed outdoors year-round in mild climates only. In colder climates, bring indoors during winter to avoid damage due to freezing temperatures.
