Circle of Poppies in Green Glaze
Ceramic Wall Art
Created by
Beth Sherman
In this piece Sherman wanted to get away from low relief sculpture to something that really jumps out with more three dimensionality.
This original design is sculpted out of modeling clay. From the original design the artist made a plaster mold, into which she poured slip. After bisque firing the piece, she then applied low fire glaze and re-fired it. There is a wire on the back to hang it on the wall on the inside or outside of your home, or it can be set into a tile installation as a center piece tile.
