Ceramic Raku Vessel, Naked Raku Firing 17
Ceramic Vessel
Created by
Natalya Sevastyanova
This ceramic vessel offers a nod to nature with a crackled pattern reminiscent of the cellular composition of a leaf. The design uses resist slip, which shrinks and flakes off in the naked raku firing process, leaving only a smoky design behind.
The gently rounded work has an asymmetrical silhouette, and the neck flows in delicate curves to a flared opening.
