Boat in Terracotta

Using a unique combination of different artistic disciplines, Goldgewicht creates this vessel by first wheel-throwing a ceramic vessel, then cutting the work down to her desired size and firing it. Once the ceramic portion is completed, she weaves pine needles onto the base, trimming the basketry with a sea grass rim.
