Haiku

Bold, intersecting bands—inspired by the three lines of the Japanese Haiku poem—subtly mirror the asymmetrical top lip of this graphic ceramic vase. The slip-cast piece is fired once to 1800 degrees F and decorated with underglaze and a matte glaze before being fired again to 2100 degrees F. While most do not use Jean Elton work to display fresh flowers, this piece does hold water.

A certificate of authenticity provided with the sale of each Jean Elton work displays that work's unique serial number found on its underside. Jean Elton signs both the work and its certificate.
