Blue-Green Coil

This ceramic sculpture is made on the potter's wheel. While it is drying, the artist cuts through the clay and makes the curve and opening you see. This has been fired twice in an electric kiln. Williams airbrushes the colors you see and coat the sculpture with a lacquer. It is pinned into a steel base that has been powder coated.
