Black and White (and Red)
Ceramic Sculpture

Inviting the viewer to closely examine each element, this grouping of four stoneware ceramic tiles is accented with minimalist, yet richly detailed, graphics. Layers of slip reveal peeks of contrast color, adding depth to the individual squares. The squares are accented with additions including slips, stoneware inlay, underglaze, glaze, and kanthal wire.
Each square is backed on wood and ready to hang.
Individual squares measure approximately 4.75"x 4.75"x 1.75"
