California Poppies with Bee

Squared wheel-thrown piece is made from red earthenware and finished with the majolica process. Colored ceramic stains are applied to the raw white glaze to create the artwork. California poppies are on all four sides. The bottom is curved to form four feet, and the interior is uncolored white glaze. A silvery metal bee hangs in the alcove in the front of the piece. Hand washing is recommended. Safe for all food. Microwave is not recommended.
